Sweet Beginnings Community Baby Shower
Two Rivers Public Health Department, through Healthy Families Nebraska Two Rivers (HFNTR), is hosting a “Sweet Beginnings” Community Baby Shower. The event is designed for pregnant women and families preparing for a new baby, providing an opportunity to learn about local resources, connect with organizations that support children and families, and build a network of support before baby arrives.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with community partners, including Family Medical Specialties, Phelps Memorial Health Center, SAFE Center, Two Rivers Public Health programs, local churches, and other organizations that serve children and families. Community partners will provide education, resources, giveaways, and engaging activities to help families learn about services available in the area. TRPHD is also collaborating with 308Bakery to bring a sweet element to the event.
The “Sweet Beginnings” Community Baby Shower is a chance for expecting families to ask questions, discover support available in their community, and make connections that can be helpful during pregnancy and the transition into parenthood. The event is free and open to pregnant community members and families preparing to welcome a baby.
