Event Calendar

A free radon educational session will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at the CHI Good Samaritan Wellness Center, at 10 East 31st Street in Kearney.
Radon is a radioactive gas that can lead to lung cancer. During the session, participants will learn where radon comes from, why testing is important, how it enters homes, and steps that can be taken to reduce exposure. Free radon test kits will be provided to all attendees.
Guests should enter through Door 7 (medical building entrance) and proceed to the Wellness Center in the basement.
The event is open to the public.
